Companyia de Comediants La Baldufa was founded in Llejda in 1996 with the main objective of offering shows of high artistic quality, multidisciplinary, suitable for all audiences and ideologically committed to the values of solidarity, tolerance and respect.
From 2008 to 2023, La Baldufa organised the Esbaiola't Festival in Valls d'Àneu, an urban theatre festival in the Catalan Pyrenees (a tourist destination for Catalans and others). This stage, which took place from 10th to 17th July 2023, was accompanied by Emanuela Giovannelli for Circuito CLAPS.

1. Esterri is a perfect setting for an event of the magnitude of Esbaiola't, a festival with and for locals and tourists, with tout public performances held in the streets, but also in the woods, to rediscover a live show linked to the territory and immersed in nature.
2. In addition to viewing the shows, the collaboration between Circuito CLAPS and La Baldufa made it possible to hold a workshop for artists in which the two young people selected took part, culminating in a site-specific performance included in the programme: the young people, guided by director Enric Blasi, acted in Italian and Catalan in one of the festival's shows, in front of an audience of international professionals and young spectators.
3. The participants also took part in the Parade, a parade of music, masks, period costumes and site-specific performances through the streets of the village, as actors and clowns called upon to perform in a special and unrepeatable context. They rehearsed and performed in the parade together with the actors and professionals of the festival.
